We are delighted to be launching our new and exciting Purposeful Leadership Pursuit (PLP) for 2022. This comes in response to the huge and complex challenges faced by businesses in a continuing climate of uncertainty, as we emerge from the post-pandemic world.
PLP is a unique and inclusive development opportunity designed to accelerate the capacity of high-potential leaders and equip them to be catalysts for purposeful change and deliver business growth.
Would some of your leaders be excited and energised by the idea of participating in the unique and life-changing challenge of the 3,000-mile Race Across America (RAAM) as part of expanding their thinking on purposeful leadership?
Could your business and leadership team benefit from adopting new ways of working to tackle the ‘pressure points’ arising from an increasingly fast-changing, challenging, and uncertain world?
Drawing on the innovative and powerful learning experience of the 500-mile Andes Challenge in 2019, participants will benefit from a unique and significant challenge that has emotional and cognitive stretch at its heart – competing in the 3,000-mile Race Across America (RAAM).
Designed to create an open, safe and exploratory environment within which to disrupt and expand leaders’ current ways of thinking, PLP aims to provide a wide range of new and different perspectives together with learning opportunities informed by professional sports practices and cutting-edge leadership development concepts, theories and frameworks.
As the inspiration behind the Andes Challenge, Farleigh Performance’s (Fp) John Hall, former International Rugby player and President of Bath Rugby Club, said:
“I am excited to be working with Farleigh Performance to offer this ground-breaking opportunity for business leaders. After twice completing Race Across America, I know this experience will create an inspirational learning environment for participants to work together in the shared pursuit of purposeful leadership and performance.”
As part of our commitment to support positive social change, a core element of PLP is also to enrich the lives of a group of young people, who have had a difficult start, through mentoring by participating leaders together with the opportunity to be part of a successful team undertaking RAAM. We will continue working with Bath Rugby Foundation together with other young peoples’ charities.
PLP 2022 will start in January 2022 spanning a nine months period to September 2022, with the trip to the USA for RAAM taking place during June. Participants will engage in a 25-day programme.
